Sonic Translate is a free browser extension that translates text you select on web pages, using keyboard shortcuts or the right-click context menu. It is provided free of charge, with no account required.

Use of Service

You agree to use Sonic Translate only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the extension
  • Use the service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair the service
  • Use automated means to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

Intellectual Property

Sonic Translate and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WebEnchant and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Services

Sonic Translate is powered by Google Translate: text you choose to translate is processed by Google's translation service. Your use of translation features is therefore also subject to Google's terms and policies.

Sonic Translate is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of translations or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Sonic Translate or WebEnchant be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
